I tell you what...it seems like it is one thing right after another in our household. I have been sick with this H Pylori thing taking tons of antibiotics. N and M have had a stomach virus. Hubby is taking care of everyone and working a stressful job. He is amazing at all that he is doing.
I took S to the ER early this morning for severe stomach pain. She has a massive kidney infection. They are keeping her here fin the hospital for several days. I am lucky that I found a wireless connection.
I just wanted to ask for everyone's prayers and/or good vibes being sent our way. I feel like we are being majorly tested. But, like my sister called to tell me today....God doesn't give us anymore than we can handle. He sure must think I am strong!!!
All my best to everyone... I will be back in touch in blogger land!!!

I thought of you today...we are set to travel on June 6 and I was thinking how everything just seemed to be falling apart today for me spilled orange juice, crashed laptop computer, camera pooped out and had to be sent in for repair, my youngest son is getting molars and is CRANKY, and I thought...HOLY MOLY I am going out to intentionally add more work to my life????
Ofcourse it was a momentary thing and I am over it now but GEE life sure has a way of letting us know we are here sometimes.
I do pray that your lives will finally get back to normal and that mundane will be yours to cherish for a while:-) So very sorry to hear of your daughters illness. Hope you are all well soon. Wishing you the very best.
BTW - I love your blog title about "the journey inward."
I was in the hospital for a long time as a little kid with a severe kidney infection. They wouldn't even let me get out of the bed. Know what I remember most? Making fashion plate etches and my dad hanging them all around the room, getting a card that said S.W.A.K. from the cutest boy in my class, and staying up late to watch TAXI. For the most part, it wasn't a scary experience. I hope your daughter is handling the experience well. I wish I still had my fashion plates to send to her!
Hang in there!!
Your family has really been having a rough time of it since you arrived home. I hope things turn around for you all soon and your daughter feels better.
